A General Conservatorship ends upon the death of the Conservatee or if the Court makes an order terminating it before that. If there is an estate involved, a final accounting will have to be filed and approved before the case actually closes. A Limited Conservatorship will end as noted above, but it will also terminates upon the death of the Conservators. A Notice of Conservatee's Death (GC-399) must be filed if the Conservatee passes away.
